Happy Valentine's Week

Hello Elders,
.
Hope your V-Day is a good one! There is a lot going on in our quorum these days and we would like to welcome Steve Wagner to his new calling as our new Redeeming the Dead committee chairman. Stay tuned for our last committee chairman for Proclaiming the Gospel to be called shortly.
.
This week we'll be pleased to hear from Bro. Prather as he teaches lesson #4 from the Joseph Smith Manual. Here is the link for your reading enjoyment: http://lds.org/ldsorg/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=da135f74db46c010VgnVCM1000004d82620aRCRD&locale=0&sourceId=3f29b00367c45110VgnVCM100000176f620a____&hideNav=1&contentLocale=0
.
We are also very excited to see Rudy come home from his mission this week. His flight comes in today, Feb. 14th, at 4:30 on Delta for all who would like to see him walk off the plane in triumph.
.
As a reminder, we will be conducting stewardship interviews at the chapel this Tuesday night (the 19th) starting at 7:30 and all are invited to attend...not just home teachers. Please call Bryan Melick to schedule a time or just come on down and we'll get you in. Bryan's number is 407-361-3018 and you can leave a message if he doesn't pick up.
.
Also, please keep your eyes open for any service opportunities that we can tackle during our Spring Clean-Up on March 1st. This event should be a lot of fun and we hope to see all of you there. For more information please see the calendar below or talk with Ken Danley.
.
Finally, the spiritual thought for this week comes from the lesson material:
“By the power of God I translated the Book of Mormon from hieroglyphics, the knowledge of which was lost to the world, in which wonderful event I stood alone, an unlearned youth, to combat the worldly wisdom and multiplied ignorance of eighteen centuries, with a new revelation." - Joseph Smith
.
We love you all and look forward to seeing you on Sunday.
