Hope You've Had a Great Week

Hello Elders,

Hope your week was better than Sam’s. Check out this link, he must have been absent on this day of school.

This week we'll be pleased to hear from Bro. Arrington from the High Priest Group as he teaches from Elder Oak’s last General Conference talk titled "Good, Better, Best". Please read it ahead of time and come prepared to have a great discussion. Here is the link for your reading enjoyment:

We are also very excited for our upcoming spring service activity. It is on a go for Saturday March 1st. We have a few projects lined up already and are looking for more, so if you know of anything from your visits with your families please let Ken Danley know. It is going to be a great activity.

As a reminder, we will be conducting stewardship interviews at the chapel this Tuesday night (the 26th) starting at 7:30 and all are invited to attend...not just home teachers. Please call Bryan Melick to schedule a time or just come on down and we'll get you in. Bryan's number is 407-361-3018 and you can leave a message if he doesn't pick up.

Finally, the spiritual thought for this week comes from the lesson material:
"The First Presidency has called on parents "to devote their best efforts to the teaching and rearing of their children in gospel principles. . . . The home is the basis of a righteous life, and no other instrumentality can take its place . . . in . . . this God-given responsibility." The First Presidency has declared that "however worthy and appropriate other demands or activities may be, they must not be permitted to displace the divinely-appointed duties that only parents and families can adequately perform."

We love you all and look forward to seeing you on Sunday.
